This book of poems explores the adolescent years and thoughts of a young black man. The book is separated into nine sections: Inspiration, Letters, Love, Pain, Race, Reflection, Sonnets, Unpopular Opinions and Life. Each section features a number of poems relating to the topic. This book was written with the author's poetry from ages 16 to 19, hence the name ’6-9, The One is mine.
