Push
Harder
Push
Faster
Pilots tame the sky
Surfers tame the sea
Skaters tame the land
They roll radically
Every beautiful scar, flip, and thrill
It’s ecstasy without the pill
It’s a fervent fever trick
That makes me love being sick

Push
Stronger
Push
Farther
Balance, lean, swerve, pop
Shred, crash and never stop
Scrape the ground and do it again
What is it?
The wispy wind, where be it come
The smooth turn of wheels
The flip of wood below your heels
It is freedom

Push
Furious
Push
Free
It’s never how hard you fall
In Life they’re abundant to meet
It’s the way you grab the board
The force you set into your feet
Sharp turns and smooth swerves
Shredded pipes bowls and curbs
To skate is to breathe the air others dream
To skate is to be free
